I’ve always enjoyed poetry – whether written by the famous or the amateur.
Across the years, there have been times when I have been given the gift of words and, as I start this blog, I have over 20 creations.
Currently, I am writing on a new topic, virtually every day.

Show Your Power, Lord

Lord – 

Your awesome power, beyond all doubt,
In truth will surely work things out!      
We know You rule!  We trust in You –
Despite the mist that mars our view.

You lead Your children day by day.
Your Voice declares “This is the Way!”
Please guide our steps and keep us true –
We KNOW we can rely on You.

Yet mist IS here; the path’s unclear.
We stumble in the fog and drear.
When we look back, we find You led –
You’ve surely planned the way ahead!

We want things NOW – we hate to wait –
But Your time’s best and never late!
So, we will trust – and patient be
Until what’s promised – we can SEE!
